
Is wing piping neccessary? what purpose does it serve, other than looking "nice"? I don't know whether to fit some or just go
without.

Wing piping on rear wings (tadpole trim) help to ensure that there are no gaps to the rear panel and look nice. Piping on the front wings (u-section) removes the sharp edges, helps with SVA and looks nice.
I was thinking of making ali wings and using U piping for outer edges, where is it avalible?
Piping from Woolies etc. Give them a ring and they'll send samples. They do a chrome plastic 'u' trim which looks nice on ally
wings.
