I've an opportunty to buy a nose cone at a good price but does anyone know what width this needs to be to fir a McSorley +4 chassis.

I've just been dealing with this on my own chassis as well.

A standard nose will fit the top chassis rails, but the problem is the top of the front "L" section, the outer ends of which stick out when using a standard nose.
The problem with using a wide type (+4) nose is that it may be (not tried one so just guessing) too wide for the top chassis rails!

I have ended up with Westfield nosecone, which I have had to modify to suit, if it helps any it is 27" at the back where it sits on the top chassis rail(I think a standard nose is about 25" here), and is just about wide enough at the front (check the pics in my archive).

Cheers

Alex
