HI, anybody happen to know what thread is on the BL Mini exhaust rubber bobbins, tried measuring, certainly not metric, but then again not a direct match for imperial. I have two new ones but no nuts. Hope somebody can assist, thanks, Ray

I've noticed that some replacement bobbins imported from China / India have had UNC or Whit threads on them.

I guess it's a combination of old machinery and less turns of the spanner to do them up.

Thanks guys I feel that mine may be 5/16 UNF, as they are very old stock, will get some nuts and try them. atb Ray.

The nuts will be 1/2"af, easily mixed up with 13mm for the M8 thread so don't try to force them on if they don't go easily.

From memorym Whitworth and UNF (or is it UNC or BSF??) are idnetical up to a certain size, about 1/2 inch diameter; then are incomaptible afterwards.

The answer will be out there if you google..
