roll bar / high level brake light

has any one fitted a high level brake light
to their rollbar
before i fit the roll bar i might need to drill
and thread some wire through

comments and pics invited please

Yes fitted a carbon effect high level brake light, i cant attach pictures so i put one in my build section in my photo archive.

We threaded the wire up one of the rear roll bar stays.

Here you can buy LED strip lights. About 9"X1/4"x1/4". I was going to attach one of them to the lower part of the tube for my highmount. Should be fairly invisible until the brakes are applied. If you cant find that stuff its easy enough to make. Using a little ohms law (theres online calculators ) you can figure out how many LEDs and/or resistors you need. Parts are all cheap too.

Be careful, if fitting the light on the top/rear of the bar, it wont be seen when the hoods fitted.
