Just a thought, has anyone used anodised aluminium for bodywork ?
I dont know the mechanics but would the anodised colour (crack?) when forming bends?

its ways too brittle the surface would crack long beofre you got it into shape. you could do it afterwards ie anodise the body after its formed but you would need a big tank.
