what sealer do you use to do this ? Obviously, I will rivet as well. I will be painting my body tub when fitted, are there any precautions I need to take ?

We used Tiger Seal aka Sikaflex

Yep, Tiger Seal (my local car shop stocks it). Sikaflex if you can get it at the right price.

I used this stuff from decorating direct, same as tiger seal and sikaflex, but substantially cheaper.

Job completed ! That PU sealant is a right B'stard . It gets bloody everywhere.

I even managed to get the Avon bodywork to look straight !

Make sure you get panel adhesive and not silicone sealant. Wurth is excellent from Dax and Neil Foreman does an equivalent at a reasonable price. He is at http://www.nfauto.co.uk/poly_sealant.htm
