rear wong protectors

got a pair of these; ali, covered with carbon fibre look-a-like-but-not-quite placcy.

planning to fit them but maybe not before sva as it may have pointy issues.

I had to cut one down so it would not sit on the curved arch which meant I hadto peel the placcy back; now it doesn;t look so goo.

so should I just bin the placcy, primer and paint black or????????

I'm not sure.....what is a "rear wong protector", some sort of Start Trek device for the seven style car
