In an earlier thread it was mentioned that we do not need number plate mounts for SVA. Do we need a rear number plate light to be there for future use?

yes and it needs to be wired to come on with the side lights too

You don't need a number plate mount, but if you do fit one then make sure it's got rounded edges.

You do need a number plate light that comes on with the sidelights.
