Rubbing Blocks?
RazMan - 8/9/06 at 05:25 PM

I was visiting the Aeon workshop yesterday and saw some really neat rubbing blocks which I would like to find. They were a bright yellow semi-hard moulded plastic (in flat and curved versions) which took the standard velcro DA discs. They are much better than the standard rubber blocks that I have used in the past.
Any ideas guys?

Ask the guys at Aeon, maybe?

I use them all day at work being a panel beater. Think they are 3M blocks, they come in 4 different sizes.

Cheers

They definitely weren't 3M as they didn't have their brand on them - these had 'patent' printed on them. Probably far east copies but they were really easy to hold.

3M, hideously expensive to buy, but most bodyshops get one free every few thousand abrasive strips bought. The newer ones have dust extraction connections at the back.

I have Googled until I'm blue in the face - I still can't find anywhere that stocks them.
