how do you determine the height at which the rear wheel arch is attached to the rear boot tub?

Personally I fitted mine as follows:
fit the front edge of the arch flush with the floor (if its long enough), then again the rear of the arch flush with the bottom of the rear tub then slide it forward or backwards to make the wheel visually in the centre, and if the arch is too short to do it that way then set the arch height to give enough wheel clearance at the top of the tyre and then rotate the arch so that it looks to be on the correct plane, then adjust the arches height up or down, then work to centre the arch again from there.

MK Indy arches fitted as described, front lower edge flush with lower edge of side panel and rear lower edge flush with bottom edge of boot tub.
Use G clamp to hold the arches in place while you stand away to check the arches are centralised front to rear over the wheels.
I put mine just above where the wheel would be on full bump travel!! But if you have a standard kit you can simply copy whatever everyone with that
kit does.
