Thanks DaveFJ, love your avator..............makes me think of sitting in the Indy and looking up......................
I'll 2nd decorating direct, good and cheap and I've used copious amounts to stick my car together
Been down to local windscreen replacement people and got 2 tubes of windscreen adhesive for a fiver (drink) - good deal eh and plenty of spare to put
the wings back on if they come off
Ive had a bad experience with the cheaper stff before. Ill now only use Wurth bond and seal or failing that genuine sikaflex. It costs a bit more but
its a one off job.
I would have thought windscreen replacement stuff is equally as good needing to be a high performance automotive product.
I used a product called PU 40. It is a marine sealant and is resistant to salt water etc. Slightly dearer than some at about £8 but appears to be damn
good stuff.
HTH

I've used Tigerseal for all my panels - pretty much the same as Sikaflex
I used the proper windscreen adhesive for my screen and it is much, much stronger.
