I am trying to fined the size the cycle wings need to be for a low cost
any help would be apreasheated
I think it all depends on the diameter and width of your tyres. Basically, try to get ones that will be concentric to your tyres when they're
nice and close. Look on the Dax site at the pictures of the rush to see just how good they can look.

ok what size weal and tire do pepol ues then.
Depends on several factors, what running gear you're using - if you're using sierra hubs at all you'll need at least 14" wheels
possibly 15", it also depends on what gearing you want, bigger wheels increase top speed but reduce acceleration, and it also depends on how much
you can afford to spend on tyres - 13" tyres are considerably cheaper than 15". There's not much point in going for 14", because
there not as much choice in alloys and tyres, you can of course go for gargantuan 17" like viper if you're feeling flush. The profile of
your tyres will also affect the circumference.

i believe anything from 185 at the front to 205 is common though I'm sure lots of people go bigger than that, 225 perhaps?!
Ned.
I'm maybe going a little over the top with 205/40/17's at the front and 245/35/17's at the rear....... hmmmmm
Dont go any bigger than 205/13 on a standard book built car, I have!!
in the dry its great fun, in the wet anything over 60 mph the car is uncontrolable, to much rubber in contact with the ground for such a light
vehicle
which causes aqueplaning (sorry spelling)
when i go for new wheels and tyres the fronts will be no bigger than 195

this baby will be a fair weather, sunny day bit of fun - I have no intention of going anywhere near a wet road in it....
