Edge Trim......
The Baron - 18/11/06 at 04:23 PM

I used to have twin 40 DCOE’s on my locost. These have now been removed, so I am left with a hole in side of my bonnet where they used to exit.

By miraculous chance, I still have the panel which I cut out. I do not intend to bond, fill, sand and paint this back in, but intend to glue it in place from behind, and use edge trim to give a tidy finish on the outside.

Question……

Does any body know where I can get some edge trim with this profile?

Woolies do a similar section.

I was looking for something very similar and couldn't find anything at Woolies and the rest of the suppliers.

But, I was sure I'd seen something like it before. Asked a few people and they all said the same thing, the joining strip at the back of some wardrobes.

Did the job perfect for my application.
