Can you mount the aero/windscreen directly onto the scuttle if its made of f'glass, im just worried about the force of 80mph wind ripping the windscreen off and taking large portions of the scuttle and my face with it.

Ive got a stuart taylor schuttle - fibreglass with a aero screen about 5 - 6 inches high. It was secondhand and there is no sign of any damage or stress around the 5 x 5mm bolts that hold it on.
Judging by the stickers that were on it (battery cut off arrows etc) it was raced so it must have taken some punishment
