Correct me if I`m wrong

2k paint......both solvent based and water based
What solvent is used and dumb question.... Why can`t you thin it with water if it`s water based

People talk of 2k epoxy primer. what is it?. ...Solvent base 2k? what trade name then?

If someone paints his expensive yacht he uses 1pack or 2pack polyurethane............why dont we?
