after the suggestions for metal beating problem, below is the result - which we're really pleased with! Thanks for all the help, couldn't have done it without you!



Clickable pictures for a bigger look - I suppose we could have tried to beat the whole piece of ali and then not have to rivet a bit on... maybe next time!
