Hi all, am about to fit me bonnet and have to cut a hole in it for the side exit exhaust, how much clearance should I give around the exhaust to protect the f/glass bonnet??

I gave mine 10mm, should be enough. Theres plenty of air flowing around there anyway.

if your worried about the bonnet melting drive faster so more air flowing around it lol most kits ive seen dont have a large clearance around the pipes, so there cant be a problem with them damaging the bonnets. Are problems caused when sitting in traffic with no airflow can see it heating up fairly quick.
