made a mock-up of the scuttle today and got a bit confused with the height of the scuttle.

from analyzing pictures, i found that scuttles tend to be as high as the back portion of the chassis or even higher.

this equates to over 30cm height from the chassis rail to the top part of the scuttle.

what's more, i want to fit the gauges behind the steering wheel and so my scuttle would be a tad taller than usual in this forum (as i reckon the general consensus here is to mount the gauges in the center fo the dash).

so what's your scuttle height?

My scuttle is approx 30cm high at the front and 33cm at the rear and it is higher than the rear bulkhead at that, like you say.
I am also aiming to get the speedo and rev counter behind the wheel.
