Is there a paper patern for the holes at front of the side panel

Dont think so,

Its not that hard to do just be prepared for a lot of fitting, removing, filing, fitting, removing, filing and so on .........

Finish the panel at the fu tube and save all the aggravation

Not as such.

I taped a bit of card where the panel goes and poked holes through for the bones etc to fit, then transfered this to the ali.

I kept all holes small, then enlarged to suit the bones in full droop etc once the finished panel was in place using an air nibbler.

Covered the rough edges with U section rubber, job done.

Well nearly, I mucked it up first time so now have a stepped join behind the front wheel.

I thought that would be the answer have one i started some time ago I got my F/G panels today from GTS a cancelled order I thought they may have been finished but not all my panels are different colours so a spray job is on the cards

GTS have an MDF template they use to mark where that holes need to be.
If you give them a call I'm sure they will be happy to trace it into a sheet of paper and pop it in the post for you.

Ive found the easiest way for doing stuff like that is to tape a bunch of smaller peices of stiff paper to a larger peice around where the hole needs to be.
Then, once you know your templates hole is the right size, remove the parts required, give the hole a pretty line, and lay the template on the aluminum. It should be perfect the first time, everytime.
It also shows you if you can remove the control arms or not with the hole you have in mind That has saved me some major headaches on other projects.
