I am currently modifying my windscreen frame to suit my car, then will get a glass to fit.

The frame im modifying has been on a Westfield, but there are no holes in the side from where it would have been bolted to the supports.

How would have it been held as dont fancy bolting into the ally frame.

The westie supports I have are cast with a slot down the middle that the screen fits in, there are 2 grub screws either side that hold the screen secure.

The supports dont fit my scuttle, you can have them for £20.

Caterham use M5 rivnuts in the frame - suppose that's no help really

No its ok, the Westie Screen dont fit my scuttle either, and as it arrived smashed and was black framed i decided to chuck the screen and make a template of scuttle to form the remains of the surround around and will then strip paint off and polish then laquer it.

Will probably end up making my own supports and working out how to secure without drilling into frame.

Any ideas????

You could do similar to Westfield, rivet a channel to the inside of the uprights and use grub screws to hold the screen in.
