For a windscreen, am I limited to laminated glass with a kite mark (or what ever they stamp them with now)?

Are there any plastic options - eg poly carbonate?

Yes, SeaBass, that's correct.

If your fitting a full screen then they will only accept laminated glass, with the correct BS numbers on it, (as stated in the SVA manual), you definately wont pass with a "plastic" screen. HTH Ray

i'm pretty sure plastic screens are ok for MOT, sooooo..... SVA without a screen?

Hmmm... I had the impression that if the design is clearly to take a windscreen, then one should be fitted. I suppose if I fabricated the top half post-SVA, then maybe, but then the top half would be less part of the integral structure, and that doesn't fit with my designs.
