Out of curiosity has anyone on here ever got a custom curved windscreen made? Does it cost a fortune, how did you go about it??

It might be easier for a one off to have a look around at other cars to see what might fit approximately, and modify your design or get one altered (cut).
Lotus did this with the Europa, expensive looking mid-engined deep windscreen, but in reality it was the rear widow from (I think) a Ford Capri Coupe (the original Capri for those of you old enough to remeber them)

I looked at the pics and really liked it. A curved windscreen, when done as well as that, looks really groovy on an LSIS

Yup, I've got one custom made. Price was around 200 euro's, which is not too bad in my view. I just provide an AutoCAD drawing of the flattened screen, and told them what radius I wanted.
It's not e-marked, but it does carry a marking from the company which made it. And that marking also says it's laminated glass. It's sufficient to let me pass our MOT-equivalent (if I fit wipers and demisters that is.....)
