scotty g - 30/7/08 at 07:09 PM

Just had a friend call me up asking about a Chop Gun and if i knew whjat one was.
Thje only thing i can think of is those horrid things that spray a mix of finely chopped strands and resin onto a mould, the way thay make bath tubs and shower trays, would this be what a Chop Gun is?

Yup. It's a chopper gun

"In spray-up process continuous strand roving is fed through a chopper gun, combined with catalyzed resin, and sprayed onto the mould surface"
