Guys, i'm after a bit of advise. I've got my front cycle wings just how i want them now after lots of fettling, and just know that as soon
as i drive this thing, i'll break one.
So how best to make a mould of it so i can make some more if need be. They are gelcoated at the moment.
Will i need lots od wax, or just pva and some chopped mat and resin. Any guidance much appreciated.!
To make up a mould you'll need lots of wax and then some fairly chunky CSM to make a rigid mould off.... You may need to use plywood or MDF to re-inforce the mould too.
Have a look here it shows a walkthrough of making a mould.

Awesome Guys thanks, that link says it all really. Need to go shopping now.
I use almost exclusively epoxy and when making moulds I use epoxy mixed with a very fine aluminium powder as the first layer. This gives good coverage and polishes to a very good finish.
