don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Did the aircraft technique have a varnish / resin painted on the cloth to give rigidity, sure that alluminium is a lot quicker cleaner and stronger
for the flat bits.

I've used CSF in the past.
For foam I'd use florist oasis. Buy a big block of it and it works out reasonably economical....

Aircraft fabric can be dacron or ceconite, think there are others too, incredibly light & quite strong enough as long as you don't put
anything sharp against it
Don't know where to buy from but try googling the above fabrics
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

CFS for the foam and GRP supplies, top firm, and very helpful. Also do a really handy GRP guide in there price catalogue.
This site is also quite good for "How to" type info.
