Wind deflector - exterior projections

Im thinking about makeing the aeroscreen and wind deflectors all in one piece (not sure how good it will look though). Would this be a problem at IVA due to exterior projections?

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Have a look at Mac#1 Motorsport or my archive. Mine passed SVA OK.
It seems to work quite well and with a bit of judicious hot-air gun you can alter the end curves.
Possible to make your own - talk to local plastics supplier or it only cost c.£30 from memory.
I attached it by making up a length of angled ali. then rivetting the base to the scuttle and bolting the screen on. Ends supported by cranked ali. brackets.
Cheers, Pewe

can't you not just wait till the iva is over and keep things as simple as possible to get the car passed?
