rear hingeing bonnet /scuttle/nose cone
I've seen this on a Robin Hood car:scuttle /bonnet/nose cone all joined together ,and hinged at the rear bottom of scuttle --is this standard on
RH cars ?Would it work on Locost?

Yes it is standard on the robin hoods.
But as with any kits most people have modify it.You use the sierra bonnet catch at the front for them and bonnet catches at the sides.
I built a robin hood as my first ever built and will never build one again.
