Passenger tonneau cover??
Before i go down the road of trying to make one, does anyone supply a passengers side tonneau cover for a 7 cockpit? Not the material type, the proper
fiberglass/sheet ally fitted item - and a half door for the drivers side? (can't find a decent pic of one!)

Ironic. i made one from vinyl at the weekend.
Piece of pee.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Really? How did you make it?
And how was it fitted to the car?

I work for a company that makes thing swith vinyl so I acquired some of that. Obviously you can just buy some!
I already had a full tonneau for using when I park the car and leave it out and about. Saves the urge of disrespectful minors sitting in the car and
fiddling with things.
I just used the same push poppers for the half to make a half of one. I had to make the flat go down and popper to the passenger side of the tranny
tunnel as @ 80 it flies up and slaps me in the face!
It seems to work ok, I did it mainly for long singleton journeys. For example I am going to the ring next month and I can hide every thing under that
and not worry about it getting wet or blocking my rear view.
I will probably use it for track days.
Does it work? Well it bows downwards alot which shows its blocking alot of air that would otherwise be cavitating into the massive open cockpit. Yes I
think it will help MPG and top speed a little.
Edit to say that I Have not got a picture of it but I can stick a couple up to give inspiration if you want. U2U me a request and ill do it at the
weekend if I remember.

When are people going to be off this "does it work" train? It is obvious to all, that diffusers, canards, and the like, are there mainly
to look great. The latest Audi LeMans car it will never be, and nor does it want to!
I am 100% sure that these things work at looking cool 100% of the time. That's good enough for me. So go ahead and make one and please let us
know how you get on.

Cheers guys, as i thought there isn't any specific manufacturers for these. I'm intending to race my 7 so any small gain in top speed/aero
is a benefit. Right better get some sheet ally!
