Half door fitting advice

I have bought two( one pair) of these:

http://www.aerodynamix.co.uk/half-doors.html

I have offered them up to my early Westfield SEIW and to my amazement they fit not badly.

Two issues:

1) How to stop them abrading the paintwork?

2) How to attach them in such a way I can get them off in a hurray and from the inside.

I am also fitting a full roll cage from Caged.

The obvious method is to use press studs (from the outside) but that rather implies some dexterity in the application. There is a sideways impact bar in the Caged offering of the roll cage. I am wondering if it makes little point worrying about removing the half doors as they will be behind the impact bar.

Any comments advice would be welcome, the cage is on order!

Half door fitting....

I made some fibreglass half doors for my MK Indy....simply because I had seen the ones you have bought but couldn't find the advert again !!!They ended up looking much the same as the ones you have. The Mk cage is part of the car so I was able to use stainless lift off hinges from a Westfield , I then made a turn buckle/cam shaped catch to keep them closed.....simply turn this to open. Could you trim the doors to fit within the lines of the roll cage? What about the door fitting to the cage itself......you could use self adhesive velcro to fix the doors on if you wanted them to be 'quick release', allowing you a quick exit if needed. I bought some black foam tape about 20mm wide off ebay to stop them rubbing on the body sides , this was self adhesive and worked a treat.
