Nose cone interchangeability

Does anyone know if a nosecone for a Robin Hood (2B?) would fit a Locost? Mine is rather worse for wear after Castle Combe on Monday and I've found a RH one...

I would say not. The 2B is a much bigger car than a Locost.
The MK one here may fit? https://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/34/viewthread.php?tid=219117

You could try www.tsr-engineering.co.uk.

I bought one to fit on my Indy as I didn't want to chop the mk nose up.

Bonnet shape and size is the main issue with trying different nose cones, easy enough to make brackets etc to fix the nose to the chassis but if the bonnet doesn't sit right on the nose cone then thats a much bigger fix!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to have a go at repairing the damaged one first and see how that goes. I'm thinking anything I bought would need painting to match anyway so If I go with a bit of resin and mat on the inside and filler/paint on the outside I might get something acceptable for a track day car. At least I know the one I have fits!

Did you ding a front cycle arch as well or just the nose cone?

Either way - makes sense to go for a repair of what you have and keep your eyes open for a nose cone.
