front wings
i am thinking of fitting carbon fibre / carbon look alike front cycle wings but so far the best price i have found is about £70 plus postage does this
sound about right? failing that where is the best place to buy a normal set of cycle wings from?

Cheapest i've seen is MNR at £70, I think thats a pair, its not to clear though.

it depends on the quality your after - i have seen a cheap set, but you get joins on the edgs of the tyre, which reflects the light, and is blindingly
obvious.
it is worth spending a few extra ££ to get a neat weave on in my oppinion.
id speak to each of the manufacturers and see what they can do.
mine are from darren @ GTS, but cant remember the price.

I'm sure the GTS/MNR ones are great but if you can't get any there then I seem to remember that SVC sell carbon look ones at about
£70pr.
Hicost has got a pair so they must be good!

Have a word with some of the suppliers, they sometimes have seconds, or returns, slightly scratched. Picked mine up for 25 quid, lick of paint and
they'll be fine (may not even paint them, some light rubbing down improved things)

What about carbon/kevlar mix.....just to be different.
GTS do the carbon front wings for £95.00 pr which makes the plastic lookalike ones expensive as the GTS ones ARE carbon fibre.
