bike aeroscreen thing
does anyone know how to get that rainbow effect on plastic (the kind of look petrol has on the surface of a puddle).
im after an aeroscreen with this look, but i guess it has to be a special manufacturing technique.
any help appreciated

What sort do you mean, do you mean just a slight (uneven) effect in the light, or more like a coating. (Pics?)
If its the slight effect its down to the way the hydrocarbon chains refract the light. Usually evident on bends where the chains have been stretched.
And its just a by product of manufacture, and probably not desirable.
But i am guessing you mean the proper effect....in which case AFAIK its a specal coating.

Bike visors are available in iridium finish but I've never seen any plastic sheet for sale with the effect on them.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
