Al grade for body panels

What sort of ally sheet should I buy for the flat panels? (floor tunnel bulkhead)
I've been offered "1055" but this doesn't seem right (that's high purity innit?)
I have about an hour to cancel if it's wrong so advise me please quick!!!
What should I get for the curved panels (sides back) (no rush for this)
Thanks guys

Bob,

Liam and me panelled his floor, side panels, rear bulkhead and I guess he's gonna do the rest in 1mm NS4 - a few places seem ocnfused by NS4 preferring the "6061" style of classification but they got it int he end at teh Gateshead branch anyway!

Thanks Geoff,
Does nobody know??? After googling for it bit it's clear I've bought the wrong stuff but it will be OK. Advised material for car body panels is "6016" I'll use this for the outer panels with bends/ curves.

Hi Bob:

I used the 6061-T6 for the floor and rear bulkhead. For the sides, I used 5052-H23. If I were to do it again, I think I would go for the 3003 for the sides and the rear. The 5052 is a bit stiff and made the rear panel a bit of a fight to wrap around the upper and lower tubes.

I'm not sure this will help you because it seems you folks use different numbers. Best of luck with it.
