Material for bonnet
guys, will 18swg half hard alli be any use for a bonnet? too thin? too thick?
got a chance on some cheap.....

I made my bonnet from 18 gauge standard [not half hard] ally , anything thicker will be more difficult to form.

I seem to recall in the Tony Weale book that the Lotus 7 bonnet was only 20 swg.
