Airbox

Not strictly bodywork...

Are there any issues in making an airbox for my TBs using the same material that I'm using to make my bulge?

Ask as I'm nervous about using glassfibre in an area that may get fuel spitback....

It's looking OK - my test piece peeled off OK but I need to order and put on some more Gelcoat before I do anything else

Calling CFS first thing in the morning so should be able to do it Tues eve.

Cool....just a thought: what materials have you bought for moulding?
If you use surface tissue first then matt the matt won't show thru and then won't transfer thru to the part you make.

Gelcoat for first layer

300gsm for the second layer

600gsm for subsequent layers

How many layers do you think I'll need for the mould and final part?
