painting windscreen frame and brackets

Hi, hope somebody can help. My windscreen frame and brackets are aluminium. I want them black. How can I get a good longlasting finish? Cheers

Powder coating should stick well, if the company does a good job of cleaning and etch-priming the metal (the place I went to did).

Anodising would be an excellent way of doing it - but I dread to think how much it would cost for a windscreen frame, even if you could find a place that would do one-off jobs.
