Anyway, I am trying to order a fuel filler cap and looking at THIS page of the
think auto site, there are two different types that could be of use, the 3rd and the 5/6th ones down. which one should I be going for or whats the
difference??
many thanks for looking.

I couldn't even get the page to work - lots of words and no pictures! That's not your fault of course...
Trouble is, I still don't know what your question is!

I'd go for the cheapest and make it fit The one with the weld on stub may be easiest as you can weld a steel bend on it to get it to where
you want it then just use a short rubber bit to connect it to the tank.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i think its best if you stick with one that has the same dia as your inlet on the tank, then decide if you need a stub or not coming from the bottom of
the cap (this is dependent on where and how you are gonna link the cap and tank)
then decide if you want it locking or not
also try looking around they were not the cheapest when i brought mine.
hope that all makes sense
geoff
ps hav a gander at the people who make em..better pics
