Rear light mounting

hi guys just bought the lights pictured with the spacers but from the back of the lights to the plug with wires is still 70mm, i think these are going to stick too far in the wheel arch is there any way i can extend these out 30mm or so more without buying the expensive mounting boxes that are £50 a pair any ideas

I think you can get right angled bulbholders for them from SVC,
Steve.

If you have narrow arches, the mounting boxes may not fit, they didn't on ours

no problem on width of arches as we had to make them wider to fit think there in the region of 25cm wide. had a look on S-V-C and they sell the reverse and fog with the right angle holders but would appear not to have them on there own

steve did you put the right angle holders on yours

will have a proper look in morning with new eyes might be able to modify rear arches a bit to blend it all in a bit better than getting pods should of thought about the size before

Don't suppose they can be packed out with something like a coffee jar lid or something?

Cheers

Rich

The lamps are 95mm diameter and the bases are 100mm diameter.
That the only dimension i can remember without a visit to the garage.
Steve.

I bought these and found that the indicator ones (mounted to the outer edge) would scuff the tyre on full suspension drop. So I swapped the two indicator ones for the right angled versions.

do a search on http://www.europaspares.com for LX101

same as others but with a right angled connector
