Bulges

[Insert your own pun]

Just a quick one - can anyone reccommend a good supplier of GRP bulges to cover my actuator?

I need a fairly little teardrop shape but everything I find either looks like it belongs on some banana yellow Corsa with 12 exhausts or its made from carbon and £4000!

Anyone know of a good place to supply straightforward grp stuff? I have tried to make my own but its blatently obvious that Ive aken the moulds off a pyrex dish!

Edit to say: See the avatar for what im trying to cover int he side panel!

Cheers

Geoff

Or something like a Mitsi Trojan / L200 SUV bonnet bulge... Stuart Taylor Motorsport use these for their bonnet bulges (though they've now sold their Locost project onto Aries? motorsport). Might be worth a look....

I'm sure they called it a Trojan after the condom because there's often a knob inside....

You could try this place:

Redline

I bought my bulge from them - they do another with a closed front as well. Note that they come in grotty grey GRP, which HAS to be painted!

HTH,
David
