Try going to local bodyshop supplies / trade motor factors. They will be able to totally overwhelm you with colour cards.

you could try halfords as they can now mix virtually all car and motor bike colours. when i worked there they used to have a big book of paint chits which they should allow you to look through

halfords? ive vowed never to go there again after waiting 5 weeks for set of sockets, but i'll ask around at the bodyshops, so ta for that.

Funny thing is... there isnt many out here in the fens, the chavys either paint it themselves or leave it un coated. A nice contrast against rusty corsa or ford fiesta body work

it is a bit poinbtless as there is no guarantee that your monitor is set up to reproduce the colour of the paint when viewed under daylight.

colour swabs - don;lt even tell me about them - the car paint shop has mounds of them, makes dulux leaflets in B&Q paltry in comparison.

What I did was to go into halfords and look at the spray cans then choose one of the colours - the idea being that I could always pop in at a later date to get a can rather than go to paint shop.

and if you start looking for say a red, you will be present with about 200 different shade so which one should you pick?
