Rear arches

Is it me or are rear wheel arches very expensive? They also seem to be very rare!

I've been looking out for a pair near me on fleabay and now a second hand pair have finally come up they have already reached over 90 quid (and auction not even over yet) and they still require work.

Is it that difficult to make them? I need to get the bits anyway to widen my nose cone, so I suppose I may as well have a go.

Anyone got any advice/pics on making rear arches?

Thanks!
