Bodywork/bath repairs
While cutting a hole in a work surface today my hole saw spun out of the chuck and chipped my new acrylic bath. As the bath is a very simular
construction to my MK body (gel coated glass fibre) I thought one of you guys must have repaired your bodywork after a stone chip etc. If so any
suggestions how I can fix it before my wife see's it.

If you pop down to a boat/yacht chandelers most of them sell ready to use gel coat repair. Mainly available in white so should be fine, just mix up
with the hardener. Smooth it over then buff up with very fine wet n dry then use some rubbing compound to give the gloss. Hey presto missus will
never know!

There are companies out there who specialies in this type of repair, These things happen all the time in the construction industry and in the East
Anglia area we use a compant called The Bath Doctor.
I have seen them repair a hole in a bath and it was impossible to see the repair.
They also repair ceramics, UPVC and worktops.
Give them a call or look them up on the net. There must be several companies who do this work in your area.
