Half doors
Guys,
I'm looking at getting a tonneau but can't decide if I should get one with zip-off half doors.
I've got an aeroscreen fitted so are half-doors actually going to make any difference at all?

A friend has a couple of Triumphs which I sometimes use and yip the zipper doors are worth it, especially if you’ve got a heater. I'm getting a
cover made for the Falcon with them as well.
oops that reminds me I have one of the covers in my garage I'll have to return it

I have half doors on my car (see my photo archive). They keep the draught off my right elbow and hand a lot and help keep the heater air in the car a
bit. They're also good for stopping puddle splashes.

Thanks for the replies.
The car doesn't have a heater but it still sounds like they might be worth having.
I was worried they would be wasted without a proper screen - they cost an extra £50ish.

I sold my heaters as I wanted to go lightweight!
Personally I think they are over-rated

If i was getting one zipped half doors would be on the list.
Ive heard it helps the aerodynamics a bit too.

I made half doors from vinyl - what a difference to comfort. Warm hand / elbow, less flappy clothing etc.
A good idea.

I think that Chester Sportscars supply a "vinyl"type side covers that fixes onto outside of scuttle to top of rear wheel arch. Dont know
price but look very good on Tigers they build.
