Would it not be worth buying the SVA manual?

You are intending to sit the test afterall....

Cheers,
James

I wouldn't fit them at the lowest 500mm just in case you adjust your suspension at some point. Always good to leave yourself a bit of space.

When the Rover 75 was being designed, BMW insisted that the lights were fitted really low. It stopped rover doing a lowered sporty version that might compete with the 3 series. It was only when the car was face lifted with new lights that the MG version could be made.

It's actually 500mm to the bottom of the "cut off" on the lens rather than the bottom of the light, so if you go 500mm to the bottom of the light you've automatically got a bit of space to play with.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
