Bonding cycle wings to powder coated metal with PU adhesive
My cycle wings have been PUed onto the wing stays for 3 years but have finally come lose. It wasn't the PU that gave way, it pulled the powder
coat of the metal.
So be warned. If you are going to PU cycle wings, sand back to the metal first in the area to be bonded.

to late  I drilled holes into the bracket though so that the pu had something to grip around, hopefully it will be enough!!
Handy bit of experience 'tippige' though, Thanks

I drilled three holes in mine so the pu had something to grip to
And mine are still on ok

but kev from my experiance you dont drive fast enough for the wings to blow off
