brake caliper paint problem

i bought some brake caliper paint off fleabay and i dont think ive got everything i need with it! it was from savage, made by comapny trillogy /(supposedly) and was advertised as two pack paint. its has arrived with fast cleaner and a tin of paint, but no hardener that i was expecting... the paint tin say part a on it, where is part b..?? does anyone know what i should have in this kit, and if i should have hardener what is the chemical compound of it/what is it. i cant get hold of the seller to ask him either!! grrr

You should indeed have hardener from memory and also here

Why cant you get hold of the seller on ebay?? Sounds like you may have to open a dispute with Paypal to get your money back as without the hardener its clearly not fit for purpose

I use Halfords own brand, its very good and simply brushes on, no mixing. One small tin is enough to do at least 2 cars, drums an all, think its about £5 a tin

Judging by the recent threads, a Paypal dispute wont be too much hastle for a buyer as it seems Paypal automatically find in the buyer's favour. Opening the dispute might be enough to prompt a response from the seller who may be choosing to ignore your messages as he knew the hardener was missing. Is he a trader then??

Shouldn't need any special paint on calipers under normal use they don't get that hot.
