Fuel filler

I need a little help with the connections on this.

Obviously the fuel filler pipe. 44.5mm

Then what is described as a "fuel spill hose" 16mm

Then a "air return hose" 8mm

I guess that the 16mm hose goes to the tank to stop the Glugging effect when filling up

What about the 8mm hose? Would that be from the tank vent?

Cheers

I have now bought one of these and have the tank fitted with a 16mm fuel spill connection and a vent/roll over valve 8mm.

The 8mm on the fuel filler doesn't vent though and connects in below the cap seal so no air could be drawn in or released with the cap fitted.

Do I just blank the connection on the filler and vent the tank with some hose down to road level?

T into it and vent to road level? I can't see any use for it really?

Any thoughts?

Just in case anyone is looking for one at the minute, it is a lovely bit of kit with an inbuilt unleaded flap and tether.

Depending on where your filler enters the tank, the breather back to the neck, can help prevent blow back of fuel up the filler. It'll vent air quicker through there than through a rollover/2-way valve. Either blank it off or T it into your tank breather valve pipe to the valve. I'd expect it to make life easier with the T when you fill up.
