Side panels - Top and Bottom Radius
Hi,
My side panels are rivetted straight to the sides (no return). Clearly I'll need to add some sort of trim to the top edge.
Is the bottom edge an SVA issue?

As far as i am aware the bottom edge is not an issyue except at the very front where it meets the nose cone, if it is forward of the wishbones and
sticks out from the profile of the nosecone (as viewed from the front) then Mr SVA might object.
Does any of that make sense?
I will try to add a picture to illustrate my point if i can sort out my digital camera.

The manual states that the SVA man will place a cone against the side of the car - everywhere from where that cone touches the car up to 2 metres
above that point is subject to the radius laws. (Section 13, 1st two paragraphs)
That's a long-winded way of saying that the bottom radius may be checked if the tester considers it necessary. One way to avoid attracting his
attention is to smooth the edge as far as possible, so that it doesn't feel sharp to the tester's fingers. If you leave it sharp or rough
and you can guarantee that he'll check it.
Entirely IMHO, of course!
