Bonnet Power Buldges.

I have just fitted new carbs and they foul the fiberglass bonnet. What is the best way to get a power buldge or two.

Could I heat up the Fiberglass and Strech and bend it - like bending plastic?

is there any aftermarket buldges that can be fitted that don't look Sh!t

GRP is made with epoxy resin which is a thermoset. You can heat it as much as you like, but it'll just burn, wont go soft.

Once the GRP has curred its too late to reshape. It burns very well though so I would not heat it too much!
Scooby scoops are available but they only give you about 40mm

yep ill 3rd that you cant heat and shape grp because its made using resin, but doesnt have to be epoxy, i believe polyester resin is what is normally used with grp, epoxy is more commonly used with carbon but thats all by the by

if you wanted to do a real proper job of it you could try and make a mold of you current bonnet and then add the shape of the buldges to your mold and then make a totally new one but this could end uplooken even worse

Problem is the gsxr carbs arre to high at the side. I can get the air fiters out the side no probs but the tops of the carbs are above the bonnet line

Where would I get resin and mattaing and dye for making my own?
