I use this to polish mine its easy to use,just wipe on wipe off,no hard polishing require as is required with the resin polish,which also can be a bit
abrasive if you use it all the time.

Autoglym and Mer both have silicates and silicones in them. Not good for gel longterm, and horrendous to have around when doing bodywork.
Use an old fashioned proper hard wax, a few coats and it should shine like a diamond. If rough to start with, cut and polish with G3 then G7.
